TUCKSHOP
Our onsite Tuckshop operates every Friday, providing students with a range of fresh, affordable and delicious options. Run by our wonderful Parents & Friends volunteers, the Tuckshop is a much-loved part of school life - and students especially enjoy seeing a familiar parent face behind the counter! How to Order Lunch items must be pre-ordered. Families can order in two ways: • Online via CDFpay: Preferred for ease and security - orders close 4pm Thursday. • Cash order: Write your child’s name, class and order on a paper bag or reusable Lunch Wallet (available to purchase via CDFpay) and place it in the classroom tub by Thursday morning. Over-the-counter recess snacks (no lunch items) can be purchased with cash on Fridays. If Your Child Is Absent Please email the School Office by 9am Friday to have your order held for the following week. Volunteering Helping in the Tuckshop is a fun and rewarding way to get involved in school life. Shifts run on Fridays from 9am-12pm, and no experience is needed. To volunteer, please email the School Office to be added to the roster.

MACS POLICIES
MACS GOVERNANCE STATEMENT Sacred Heart Primary School is a school which operates with the consent of the Catholic Archbishop of Melbourne and is operated and governed by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS). MACS governs and operates Catholic schools in the Archdiocese to continue the mission of Catholic education to proclaim the Good News and equip our young people with the knowledge, skills and hope to live meaningful lives and enrich the world around them. Because the good work of educating the young is a co-responsible task led by every member of the Catholic school community, School Advisory Councils have been established to provide a crucial point of connection between the wider school community and school leaders. This governance model was designed to ease the administrative burden on schools and parishes, allow parish priests to focus on the mission of education in the parish, enable greater collaboration between schools and ensure greater consistency in school policies and procedures. More information about MACS is available at www.macs.vic.edu.au. To view Sacred Heart Primary School policies https://safesmartsolutions.com.au/portal/Sacred%20Heart%20Primary%20School%20-%20Diamond%20Creek/1f9b7111b8/policy

DEMOCRACY STATEMENT
At Sacred Heart Primary School we recognise that the School plays a vital role in advancing democratic ideals and principles. For democracy to continue to thrive, children must be taught democratic ideals and principles and to value its way of life. Sacred Heart Primary School will explicitly and implicitly support and promote the principles of Australian democracy, including a commitment to: • Elected government • The rule of law • Equal rights for all before the law • Freedom of religion • Freedom of speech and association • The values of openness and tolerance
